Since the day they first met on Facebook, it was a special connection. Since Divya is from India, "Sammy" (Divya's pet name for him) found her accent to be both charming and difficult to understand. The couple quickly learned that their differences drew them together and they had more in common than they thought. Divya carries many Indian customs, traditions and values with her. She enjoys exposing Sammy to real Indian food and has a deep appreciation for elders and building relationships. Sammy likes an active lifestyle and enjoys exposing Divya to American activities and holiday events. Both enjoy games, travel, poker, badminton, pickleball and just hanging out together. After more than 2 years together, they have a deep love and respect for each other and have learned how to appreciate similarities and differences.
